The Schaeffler whistleblowing system
The name Schaeffler stands for a global family-owned company with a strong set of values. Compliance with laws and regulations as well as integrity and ethical conduct are principles that contribute to our reputation and our sustainable business success.
Illegal and irresponsible behavior can damage our reputation and permanently jeopardize our success. Therefore, it is important that both our employees and suppliers, customers, and partners have the opportunity to report suspected compliance violations safely and confidentially. For this purpose, the company provides the whistleblowing system Schaeffler SpeakUp Line, through which potential violations can be reported anonymously and in several languages. In this way, Schaeffler promotes an open feedback and reporting culture and protects its employees, its partners, and itself.
Whistleblowers can report possible compliance violations, for example in relation to human rights, the environment, or other unethical or unlawful behavior involving Schaeffler, its employees, or third parties such as suppliers. This also includes violations of laws or regulations that may have legal consequences or disadvantages for Schaeffler. In addition, Schaeffler does not tolerate discrimination in employment and occupation. Personal concerns, such as those related to salary, promotions, or internal conflicts, are generally not considered compliance violations and should be reported to the Human Resources department.
With this whistleblowing system, in addition to the traditional communication channels, you have the option of providing information about compliance violations without revealing your identity. You can submit reports regarding suspected cases online or by phone around the clock, seven days a week.
Our contribution to whistleblower protection
Schaeffler promotes open communication and encourages you to submit reports unanonymously whenever possible in order to facilitate a thorough and conclusive review. Your identity and your report are fully protected. All reports are reviewed impartially and handled independently. The specialists entrusted with this task are bound by confidentiality. Retaliation against whistleblowers is not tolerated at Schaeffler.
Thank you very much for your trust and support!
