At its 2026 Supplier Day in Herzogenaurach, Schaeffler presented seven suppliers with the Supplier Award 2026 in recognition of their outstanding achievements. Georg F. W. Schaeffler, family shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG, and Dr. Jochen Schröder, Chief Operating Officer of Schaeffler AG, presented the prestigious awards before an audience of more than three hundred guests. In tune with the theme “Ready for the next move”, Schaeffler and its suppliers also discussed specific challenges and areas for action across global supply chains. The focus was on increasing competitive and cost pressures, the importance of reliable relationships with suppliers, and the question of how resilience can be further underpinned through transparency, localization, and strategic sourcing. Several keynote speakers emphasized the crucial importance of highly robust supply chains, fast development cycles, and sustained innovation potential.

In a volatile and increasingly complex environment, resilient supply chains are not an option but a prerequisite to ensure our long-term delivery capacity. Through its Supplier Awards, Schaeffler has consistently acknowledged outstanding performance within its global supplier network. This year, the accolades were presented to suppliers who have made a measurable contribution to Schaeffler’s success through their collaborative approach, high level of commitment, and outstanding achievements. A total of seven suppliers received awards in five categories.
