Schaeffler at Maintenance Dortmund 2026 Innovative solutions for efficient lubrication, smart condition monitoring, and safe mounting
12.02.2026 | Schweinfurt
- Medium-frequency induction ensures fast and safe mounting and dismounting of bearings
- Arcanol lubricants extend the service life of bearings and linear motion systems
- FAG OPTIME E-CM monitors electric motors and reduces downtime
The Motion Technology Company Schaeffler will be at the Maintenance Dortmund trade show to present innovative technologies and solutions that take customers’ industrial maintenance processes, manufacturing efficiency, and plant availability to whole new levels.
Focus will be on three main thematic areas: state-of-the-art medium-frequency induction systems for enabling fast, safe mounting and dismounting of bearing components, the proven Arcanol lubricants for extending the service life of rolling bearings, and the OPTIME Ecosystem for smart condition monitoring.
Medium-frequency induction systems: Efficient mounting and dismounting
With the medium-frequency induction systems, Schaeffler offers a fast, safe, and energy-efficient solution for the controlled heating of bearings and other components. Unlike low-frequency heaters, the medium-frequency systems can be used not just for mounting but also for dismounting.
The inductive heating and the precise expansion of parts ensure easy mounting and dismounting. The generators are available in 3.5 kW to 44 kW variants and can be used with a vast array of differently sized and shaped workpieces, ranging from small bearing rings to large components such as main bearings or the housings of wind turbines.
At Maintenance Dortmund, Schaeffler will also be demonstrating the mobile MF Generator 3.0 live at the booth. With 3.5 kW, this generator is ideal for small to medium-sized workpieces and flexible on-site use.
Extended service life with the right lubricant
An often underestimated but decisive factor determining the service life of rolling bearings is the lubricant used. Arcanol lubricants from Schaeffler stand out due to their ability to significantly reduce friction and wear in rotary and linear bearings. This in turn results in a longer service life and greater sustainability. The product portfolio offers a wide range of specially developed lubricants that are tailored to different operating conditions such as temperatures, loads, and environments. The consistently high quality and reliability of each batch is ensured through rigorous physical and chemical testing. Visitors to the Schaeffler booth can find out about the innovative testing methods used as well as the performance capabilities and the wide range of applications of the Arcanol lubricants.
FAG OPTIME E-CM: Electrical condition monitoring of three-phase motors
The Schaeffler OPTIME Ecosystem is a leading solution for smart machine monitoring and intelligent lubrication. The portfolio has recently been supplemented by the FAG OPTIME E-CM system for the electrical condition monitoring of three-phase motors – one of the main types of drives used in compressors, rotary pumps, fans, and grinding machines. Whereas the predecessor OPTIME sensors primarily offered early detection of mechanical vibrations, the FAG OPTIME E-CM supplements this with analysis of motor currents and voltages. This combination makes it possible to predict failures even more reliably and prevent unplanned downtimes even more effectively than before.
