Our digitalization roadmap forms the company-wide framework for our digitalization activities on our way to becoming a digital frontrunner. Crucial in this process: adaptability and flexibility to seize future opportunities.
These are the eight elements of our digitalization roadmap:

With our digital strategy at the core of our digitalization roadmap, we take a holistic view of digitalization across the dimensions of business, data and IT. The goal: to use the opportunities of digitalization to enrich the existing business and create new digital solutions, both internally and for our customers.

To ensure the success of our digital transformation, we have developed an operating model – with defined responsibilities, ensured governance and rules for collaboration in our digital ecosystem. Our digitalization network across all divisions, functions and regions is the basis for our digital success.

Laws and regulations for digitalization have a significant impact on our digital solutions. We understand these comprehensively and respond accordingly and promptly to meet legal requirements and ethical standards.

Ideas, demands, projects, and solutions: Schaeffler manages its digital portfolio holistically with a value-driven approach. Harmonized processes are the basis for well-founded decisions and the effective and efficient implementation of ideas in digital solutions.

We track the status and progress of our digital transformation with the help of corresponding metrics. These are aligned with strategic priorities of Schaeffler and our digitalization strategy.

We foster a "go-digital" mindset throughout the company. Our goal is to develop every employee into a digital-savvy employees. To this end, we offer numerous opportunities for training and further education and, through events and appropriate communication, ensure that we can develop our digital potential throughout the company.
