"The 2010 InnoTrans was a huge success for us. This is primarily due to your
contribution as visitors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank
you all for this. The number of visitors at our booth, several discussions
and a few finalized contracts showed us that our range of products generates
a great deal of interest."

Figurehead for high-speed transportation
Schaeffler Group Industrial (FAG) is the sole supplier of axlebox bearing units for the CRH3 high-speed project in China. These trains reach speeds of up to 350 km/h. Their suitability for speeds up to 380 km/h has also been approved during test runs in accordance with EN 12082.

Award-winning new development: Train Support System (TSS)
The TSS, which has received an award from CNA, can be used as an independent energy source, for example in freight cars that do not have their own electricity supply. The bearing was integrated into an on-board unit using electronic systems and software developed by Schaeffler and represents an important step towards a railway guidance system.

Protection against the passage of current in electric drives We have now completed our range of current-insulated bearings with Insutect coating for electric drives with our new insulating coating J20AB and by optimizing our premium insulating coating J20AA. Designers of traction motors in long-distance and short-distance rail vehicles now have more flexibility when it comes to selecting the best insulating coating for their applications.

Special thanks go to our customers
By visiting our booth, showing interest in our products and services, asking (often critical) questions and by showing your readiness to negotiate, you made a significant contribution to our success at the 2010 InnoTrans. We are already looking forward to seeing you again in two years at our new trade show booth at the next InnoTrans in Berlin.

Until then,
we are looking forward to several new and exciting projects. The focus of these projects is not only on the Asian markets, but also Europe and North America. Our work will involve high-speed projects with speeds of over 350 km/h, various short-distance transportation projects in China and India as well as mechatronics.
