The Schaeffler Group's FAG and Barden brands stand for the development and manufacture of special bearing supports for aviation and aerospace applications. These bearings help ensure that commercial aircraft are one of the safest means of transportation. Nearly all modern passenger aircraft use bearing technology from FAG. FAG Aerospace also took part in the development of the bearings and other precision components used in the engines of the new Airbus wide-body aircraft A380 and the Boeing B787 Dreamliner.
