Packaging
Please ensure that the shipment is packaged according to the INA packaging instructions when handing it over to the shipping company. Dangerous goods shipments, delicate, fragile and similar shipments must be marked according to the relevant regulations! Legal requirements must be met!

Accompanying documents and delivery notes
Please only hand over shipments to the freight carrier that have accompanying documents (consignment note, delivery note) that have been completed in full. Please clearly mark the package with the delivery notes in the case of several packages. The delivery note must be attached on the outside in a transparent envelope where possible. Delivery notes or packing lists as well as invoices and other delivery documents must contain the following: :

• Identification or item number (with drawing change index insofar as this is relevant)
• Gross and net weight
• Our order number
• Volume (for bulky goods)
• Number of packages
• Packaging type
• Other documents required in the order
• Destination point or storage location

Labeling packages
The address must be indicated with the destination point or storage location indicated in our orders.

Freight terms
Please always indicate the delivery instructions arranged with us (Incoterms 2000) on the consignment note and the shipping order.

Hand over
The items to be shipped must be handed over to the carrier or freight carrier according to the section marked “Registering with our Logistics Service Providers“ in due time so that we have the goods on the premises on the agreed delivery date.

Partial shipments
These are only permitted if they are explicitly requested, or if they are specified by us in the order. Please make arrangements with the relevant INA purchasing department if necessary.

Consolidated shipments
Several deliveries in one day must be consolidated into one shipment or delivery.

Insurance
We are a co-insurer and transit insurance is covered by us.

Damage and additional costs
Please note that any damage and ensuing additional costs arising from non-observance of our shipping and transport instructions are charged to the supplier’s account.

Addresses
Please note the delivery addresses. These can deviate not only from the ordering address, but also from the invoice address! All the necessary data is explicitly indicated in our orders. If our details are incomplete, please inform the INA orderer or the INA purchaser responsible.

Receipt of goods
Please observe the guidelines in each plant. Deliveries outside normal hours can only be made after consultation with the relevant purchasing department or the receiving department.
