200 guests witnessed the presentation of the Mainfranken Racing Team's third racing car at FAG’s premises in Schweinfurt for the international Formula Student competition. The mechanical engineering faculty of the Wurzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences and a team made up of 34 members is behind the Mainfranken Racing Team that is working on the MFThree project (the name of the compact racing car).

Free of charge and permanently available on the Internet, the INA Linear Technology Division of the Schaeffler Group offers its customers a new online calculation module for monorail guidance systems. Based on the rolling bearing calculation software Bearinx® developed by the Schaeffler Group, Linear • EasySolution calculates the basic rating life of a driven linear axis supported by roll-ing bearings. An easy-to-use interface with a transparent menu system gives self-explanatory instructions on inputting data.
