INA Metal-Polymer Composite Plain Bearings

Maintenance-free Central Articulated Pivot for Joining Tram Carriages
Modern low-floor trams offer not only the comfort of low-floor access but also free passage from the front to the rear of the vehicle. Examples of Application EngineeringDeutsche Bahn AG has concluded a framework agreement with Bombardier Transportation for delivery of up to 321 electric multiple units of the second generation of the TALENT vehicle concept. Schaeffler Group Industrial has developed the rolling bearings for the train wheelsets in an engineering partnership with Deutsche Bahn and system manufacturer Bombardier.

Tapered Roller Bearing Units TAROL Mounting, Maintenance, Repair
TAROL units (Tapered Roller Bearings) are double row tapered roller bearings that are supplied with factory-set clearance, greased and sealed. The TAROL units are thus supplied ready-to-fit and are pressed onto the shaft journal by means of a hydraulic unit.
